Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Item upgrades are upgrade components that can be inserted into armor, weapons or trinkets to offer an additional benefit. They usually come at a higher cost and require the item to be at an appropriate level.

A custom glyph set can contain the maximum number of glyphs, 31 that include the base name as well as its suffix. The glyphs of the base name must be uppercase English letters (A-Z) and lowercase English letters (a-z), European digits (0-9) and underscore (_). The glyphs of the suffix may contain ligatures or contextual alternative, which are special variants that combine two or more characters into one visually unified symbol.
Reroll Tokens
Upgrades are the primary mechanic that provides extra bonuses on items, like extra stats. They come in types: rerolls levels up, recycle and reroll. Each type offers a distinct bonus on the item.
Reroll Tokens allow players to change an item's base power and the number of upgrades available and are also used to reroll substats in ring. This can be useful if an item's fully upgraded (or "potential") power is less than a player desires or if its current substats aren't ideal.
Rerolling an item costs 1 token. It resets the upgrades, however it will keep the set, rarity and level unaffected. Certain recipes require certain ingredients or appliances which can be purchased by selecting the Franchise Card from the Blueprint Desk. Some Appliances and Ingredients are considered to be staples and will never be available at the Shop or through a reroll, while others have a higher likelihood of appearing if a certain Franchise Card is picked from the Blueprint Desk. This is called the Staple Pool, and the items in it will remain in the pool for the remainder of the run. Similarly, non-staple Equipment is transferred to the Seed Pool when it is purchased from the Blueprint Desk.
Recycled Items
The magic happens with the third "R," recycling. You can help the environment by recycling a product made of recycled materials. Most recycled items are sent back to the manufacturer from which they came to be remade as an entirely new product. This is referred to as "closing of the loop of recycling."
When someone puts something in their recycling bins at the curb, it is sent to a Materials Recovery Facility where it is separated and sorted. Then, it is transferred to manufacturers who will then re-make the item. Items that are typically remade into new products include:
This process reduces the necessity to harvest, grow or extract raw materials to create something other than. This reduces the damage done to nature. A final reason to purchase recycled products is that it takes less energy to create new items using recycled materials as compared to creating them from raw materials. Leveling
